A man’s mead fought with a bear’s honey once. The sweeter had the arrogance, the stronger had the irreverence. A master made guns while the bees mated. In the end, it was the mead that had to win, for irreverence to everything is stronger than isolation. The need for nourishment is no longer of any importance. A building needs to house men, their guns, and their mead. The bears are migrating to the poles.
