Ideas come and ideas go, and people stay. Wanting to know it all pushes us to the brink of mass, but the last Martian that sits there would be a lonely guy. To ask him to invite humanity is a tricky business because humanity doesn’t do much good. He would still have his hope attached, and maybe someday we do become another speck on a different planet, but the restoration of who we are has to begin today, right here on Earth itself.
